A 200 sqm family home in Cavite, designed for a married couple with four children as their long-term retirement home. Having lived just a street away, the move marked a new chapter—one centered on comfort, familiarity, and creating a space where they can gather with family and host loved ones. The home features four bedrooms, three toilets and baths, a powder room, and an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area.

The brief was to create a contemporary interior while thoughtfully incorporating the client’s existing furniture and accessories—pieces collected over the years that hold strong sentimental value. Because this was a ground-up project, the design process was closely coordinated with the architect and engineers from the start, allowing each space to be planned with the right proportions, layout, and flow. This early collaboration played a key role in achieving a home that feels both cohesive and highly functional..

To unify a mix of old and new pieces, the palette was kept neutral with warm, earthy accents, allowing the client’s collection to naturally stand out. New finishes and fixtures were selected with longevity in mind—timeless, understated, and able to tie everything together without overpowering the space.
